 Sylvester McPherson first became interested in music from traveling the United States singing at age 12. From then on the rest was history for the young Macon County native. McPherson has worked in multiple cities hosting gospel shows including Tuskegee, Opelika,and now Montgomery. McPherson gave his life to Christ at an early age and has been often recognized for his commitment to gospel. He was awarded for Outstanding Achievement in Gospel Promotion and earned a Doctoral Degree of Humanitarianism from the Tennessee School of Religion. Keeping with his duty to serve, McPherson also works for the City of Tuskegee's Senior Citizen Program where he truly enjoys working with the elderly to gain a wealth a knowledge, history, and wisdom. In addition, he serves as a husband and father to his three beautiful daughters. He believes” if everybody would take six months to mind their own business and six months to leaves other folks business along, the world would truly be a better place.

Coming this spring, Gospel artists Mary Mary and BeBe & CeCe Winanas are set to take the country by storm with a siblings concert tour set to take off April 1.

The tour comes just in time, a few days after Mary Mary releases their next album “Something Big” on March 29.

Also, the Winans have something to celebrate. Their first album together in 15 years, “Still,” has been nominated for two Grammy Awards.

Here are a few of the “Still Something Big” Gospel tour dates:

April 1st – Detroit, MI: Fox Theatre
April 2nd – Chicago, IL: Chicago Theatre
April 3rd – St. Louis, MO: Fox Theatre
April 6th – Washington, DC: Lincoln Theatre
