(Washington DC) This past
weekend, THE BUTLER (starring Forest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey)
debuted in theaters across America. It earned $25 million during its
first three days, making it the weekend's top earning film.
Directed by Lee Daniels, it tells the story of Cecil Gaines (based on the
real-life Eugene Allen), who served as a White House butler under seven
different presidents after growing up in the racially-divided South.
